David Cropley is an Associate Professor of Engineering Innovation at the University of South Australia.
David has been actively researching the fields of creativity and organisational innovation for over 20 years, and is the author/editor of six books, including The Psychology of Innovation in Organizations (2015). He is also the author of more than 100 refereed papers and book chapters on the same subjects.
Now a recognised international expert in creative problem solving and innovation, David was a scientific consultant and on-screen expert for the Australian ABC TV Documentaries Redesign My Brain (2013), Life at 9 (2014) and Redesign My Brain, Series 2 (2015). David’s recent work has focused on the assessment of innovation in organisations, and the role of culture in helping innovation to take root in organisations.
David also facilitates a range of tailored Creativity and Innovation Workshops, including the development of creative thinking skills in people, through to the identification and solution of specific problems.
